Pashminas Are the New Wedding Fashion Craze

Pashminas are very convenient for all types of situations since they’re easy to stick in your shoulder bag if you get too hot. The wool of the pashmina is a great insulator, so instead of wearing a large jacket on a chilly summer or spring evening, a pashmina will suffice as a handy outer garment.

Pashminas are now very in vogue as a fashion accessory/apparel at wedding ceremonies. Recent summertimes in the United Kingdom have been rather awful, so perhaps this has encouraged this new movement. White pashminas, as well as cream and gold are trendy selections for wedding parties, and look amazing if all the bridesmaids have the same colour.

With a larger pashmina shawl, it can also turn into a convenient blanket for long trips. And it goes without saying, a pashmina shawl can become a warm scarf for the winter.

There tends to be two main varieties of pashmina shawl – the 100% pure pashmina, and the 70% pashmina / 30% silk variety. The mixed pashmina you can buy at cheaper prices than the pure wool opposite number, but it’s less soft. It’s really down to you as to how you want to wear your shawl. Is it just for fashion purposes, or also apparel keep you warm too? We advocate 100% pashmina shawls to keep you warm.
