A Good Twist on Traditional Vampire Stories

The True Blood story begins when a waitress falls for a vampire in the fictional town of Bon Temps. The story teller has done a good job adapting the books for screen and even those who haven’t read them can enjoy the well placed twist on the traditional vampire fantasy. The twist is a self contained story where vampires try to make their own place in society; they face some severe disagreement from those who feel that they have no place in their society and remain apprehensive about vampires living amongst them.

The season 2 of true blood has concluded and the finale was good, but not nearly as good as I had expected. However, the grand finale of true Blood managed to tie up various subplots and open new ones. True blood is a good and well-written show, you would feel the story is heading in one direction and then it takes a sharp turn. Season 2 became far more complex and intriguing as all the characters and plots became intertwined. This show has all the ingredients of mystery, fantasy, comedy and wild imagination. True Blood looks terrific whenever it has to show a vampire in action, as they can move almost too fast for the naked eye to see. In short, true Blood made good on most of the stories it told in the latest season.
