May 31st, 2009

Many gamers should have found the expression “offshore sports betting”, though a few are not totally positive what it alludes to. A foreign betting web site fundamentally runs outside of the authority of a particular land but alternatively it could mean a machine-accessible gambling site that bases their central servers within the boundaries of a land in which networked betting is not illegal. Succinctly therefore, it’s best described as a sports gambling website operating outside of the authority of the country of the player. A Primer on Travelblogging

May 31st, 2009

Global communication is now possible from our homes – and this is reflected in the plethora of weblogs from backpacker-types around the world writing from the country they are currently residing in.

From reports regarding Ho Chi Minh’s Cho Ray Hospital to flower festival of Hiroshima, Japan, there seems to be no issue that isn’t written about by these intrepid travellers.

These types of websites – often referred to as “travelblogs” – are popular with other travelers and people who have been to the nation they’re writing from. Also, such blogs give an inside view of the nation for those considering traveling in the future, and so give them a snapshot of what they can anticipate if they do decide to travel.

Now it’s normal to chance upon such travelblogs, and so it’s sometimes not sufficient to simply give your views on the country you are currently residing in. Lately there’s a need for blogs that pinpoint niches in the country they live in. For example, a travelblog regarding photos of buses in Thailand, or maybe a blog that details the skiing in South Korea.

The majority compose these travelblogs as a hobby, and maybe a bit of attention, but there are bloggers who are able to make a living from blogging. Be it money via advertising on their blog, or for writing for other sites and receiving money for such work as they are travelling. If you’re living in a country that has low living costs, this can actually pay your way – though you do have to have a backup some savings and not soley rely on earning from your blog.

To sum up, it’s good to write a journal of what you’re getting up to while you’re travelling – for looking back on and recollecting what you did, and at the same time giving other people a special glimpse at a corner of the globe they may know nothing about.

Online Business Directory – Helping Your Traffic

May 31st, 2009

An online business directory is a website listing of information which details the descriptions of many businesses. It specialises in giving the user a business outline as quickly as possible. Details of a business may include; the business name, location, what service and or product the business provides, number of employees and the service region. Many Business Directories offer complimentary listings in addition to the premium options

You can even customize and personalize your ad space with graphics and added features. In order for business directory listings to be visible – which translates into more customers – it has to stand out. Online business directories can help you do this.

It is easy and convenient. Why else should you consider listing your company in a business directory? Take a look at the benefits for your business:

* It provides exposure. This means more customers. People will not buy your products or use your services if they don’t know who you are. It’s that simple. Your business directory listing will contain important business information that customers are interested in.

* There is intense competition for most goods and services, and making a profit can be challenging. Being listed in a business directory is a good way to get your name out there. People overwhelmingly use search engines and business directories for help in selecting products. Yours needs to be listed in order for you to have a chance for success.

* The cost of running a business is high; advertising costs are high. Listing with an online business directory is a good, inexpensive way to gain exposure for your company. Often the cost is less than that of advertising in the traditional paper yellow pages.

Beta Testing First Mobile Internet Satellite Broadband, Part III

May 26th, 2009

Back in 1999 when we beta tested the first wireless mobile office with satellite broadband Internet we had something that no one lese had. Today you can buy these systems for $5,500 fully installed on any RV. We probably had $10,000 in the first system and we had mobile satellite number 34. Today there are thousands of systems out there. Continuing the beta testing story of the first broadband satellite internet system.

It appears the Canadian based companies for obvious reasons are gaining fast while the US companies were hampered by the FCC in the last few years, forcing communications to move out of the country, yet the customer bases will be here and many of these companies will have 50K subscribers in no time, and the US mighty powerhouses will end up with all the technology and hardware through acquisitions or set up new systems in the coming years with higher capabilities. But do not count out the GM Hughes Team, Craig McCaw (he is a lifer when it comes to passion of the industry) and of course Lockheed and Microsoft. Teledesic, and the other recent alliances and projects prove that the world will be more than united and on the same page it will be doing so in real time. Expect the human rights violations of yesterday to disappear in all nations, religion to be put in check and knowledge to be the universal truth. I would like to thank; John Kettlewell, Jon Haugan, Steven Genuser, Stacy, Allen, Steve Ford WB8IMY, Michael Tavern, Frank Morring, Kim Komando and a few other writers, researchers and industry insiders for all the data in our research. We have scoured over 20 magazines for the last year for bits and pieces of the puzzle and personally visited all kinds of people around the US for this input.

We at WashGuys are sitting on the latest and greatest technologies on this Planet. We will always be on the leading edge of anything that makes us great. And when we say us, we mean all of the US, but of course this costs the big bucks and we like out electronic toys, but it is not for everyone. Okay back to the talk. TracNet is another purely Internet Based satellite service and has download speeds of 400kbps, but since it is not directly two way it’s upload speed is 14.4 Mbps on a cell phone or at 9600 through the satellite, bummer, but it works no matter where you are in the US. Truck drivers like this one a lot. It also works about 100 miles from the coastline in a boat and is good on yachts. Many high-end motor homes have this system too. TrackNet uses the 802.11b wireless standard WiFi; this is at 11Mbps, same as an Ethernet network. The cool thing about this system is you can be outside on the grass in a park doing you work as long as you have the server in your car with the Trac net antenna set up. Of course you need some space for all this but the size of this technology is getting smaller and the price is coming down too. Right now this system costs about $6K. It uses the ExpressVu Bell Satellite and it requires a 14-inch antenna. Let me know if you want to see what the dome looks like. This will cost an additional $3,000. Cost is $ .99 per minute and after 900 minutes it is only $ .79 per minute. MotoSat System, 12Kbs on down load and 1.28Kbs on uplink all satellite, no cell phones unlimited use for $79 per month. Hell you can even watch TV on the damn thing.

Got to love the diehards from GM Hughes Spin off. What’s the catch? A 39 inch antenna, not exactly transportable or brief-casable. DataStorm it is called. Our WashGuy Command Center antenna is 42 inches high and 39 inches across in an ellipse shape. We believe the next wave of technology is where it is at however and predict this to be in place where WiFi is sitting on top of every billboard in the US for uplink and the antennas are 5 inches high and self tracking the downlink from the satellite and with this technology and user codes each company can help America track terrorists and once a terrorist is coded like a whale that has been tagged, you always know where he is. When will this be? Not long. Give it three, maybe four years or so tops, five if the FCC does not see it’s obvious value.

Another system, which may enter the market, is GE Capitals Americom Communications Unit. Our founder met the president of Americom once, about 8 years ago, interesting guy. Societe Europeene Des Satellite (SES) added these satellites to its 28 owned and 13 satellites that it has an interest in. Why? To have a piece at the broadband seamless global conductivity market. This was talked about in April 2 issue of Aviation Week and Space technology. This means that SES will also control AsiaSat and Embratel’s Brazil StarOne. Other articles to tell the history of this whole thing are; Nov 13 2000 AW&SPT and AW&SPT of July 24,2000. SES maybe the most profitable in the entire sector due to the contract backlogs of 6.4 Billion as of June 2001. So now what will they do with others entering the markets? It appears GE was smart to sell and now needs to get back into the game somehow. I see the coming of a new age. Where information, innovation, security, safety, will change the world. And just imagine the power it will give to all the research going on in the World. Very cool. Car Wash Guys are in close contact with these technologies so we can put a small antenna on every until and address the entire company and every crew in it every morning of everything going on by way of satellite video conferencing. WOW, we are almost here.

And that is the story of our Beta Test Project and we are glad to be a part of Communications History and we have now tested the satellite system in every city in the United States over 10,000 people. Think about it.

Can You Crack the Lottery Code by Utilizing Your Own Extraordinary Method?

May 24th, 2009

Millions of players each week prefer to use identical numbers; quite often these are memorable dates, which in many lotto’s can only cover part of any potential lottery choices.

Can you decrypt the code applying your own specific strategy or trust on an elottery syndicate to choose them on your behalf? We unrealistically believe that if we don’t do anything or sometimes do it the wrong way that something bad might happen, in that instance; if we miss doing our numbers they are sure to come up!

Being the one to choose the winning lottery numbers is naturally something each and every committed lottery player wishes they could do and as humans, we possess an innate bias against anything random, we like some form of control and conventions that make sense to us all.

So your lottery number comes up more frequently; why should it come up again? It’s impossible to pluck any set of lottery numbers that are more or less likely to win. Lotteries are a game of pure chance and each lottery number drawn is simply at random. So the upshot is – no number is more random than another.

If you look at the rules of probability, as one number is drawn the likelihood of your selected number going to be picked afterwards is slightly increased because the possible selection is lessened.

Utilizing the same lottery numbers will mean you will have to play 135,000 times to even have an evens chance of winning. Unluckily, to win the lottery jackpot you only have close to a 1 in 14 million chance of being prosperous; nonetheless we all reckon it could be us. Does that sound like a good prospect; would you be luckier joining a lotto syndicate?

If you choose the same lotto numbers each and every week, just remember they are nevertheless random lottery numbers and you stand just as much a probability of winning with those same numbers as with a lucky dip option. All The Same, if you use birthday numbers in a lotto draw your particular chances of winning the jackpot still remain the same but also your individual chance of keeping the jackpot to yourself is dramatically reduced because so many other individuals use birthday numbers in their selections.

How to Count Cards in 21

May 22nd, 2009
I use a slightly different counting strategy when I am playing single and double deck games as

opposed to six or eight deck games. In single and double deck games I like to count aces out separately,
which gives me an advantage. In this situation I will count 3, 4, 5 and 6 as +1 and 10, Jack, Queen and
King as -1. I just keep my left hand underneath the table and count the number of aces that come out on
my fingers. If a low number of aces have come out than I will know that the situation is more favorable.
The running total of all of the cards is called the “running count.” However, a running count of
+10 with four decks remaining is a much different situation than a running count of +10 with one deck
remaining. Why? Because the concentration of high value cards is much higher with a plus 10 when
there’s only one deck left as opposed to four. Therefore, we need to figure out a way to account for this.
The way that we do this is by utilizing what is called a “true count.” To find the true count all you have to
do is divide the running count by the number of decks remaining. So if the running count is +12 and there
are three decks remaining than the true count is +4 (12/3 = 4). I am telling you the math involved in learning how to count cards is a piece of cake.

The Ideal Golfing Trip

May 21st, 2009

What is the ideal golfing trip?

For some golfers the ideal outing would be going to a major course and getting to play on it, knowing professional golfers had played over this same course.

What golfer would not want to play the course where the Master’s or U.S. Open is held?

Most would almost kill (figuratively speaking) for the chance.

These are courses where legends have played – players such as Arnold Palmer and Tiger Woods. (Yes, Woods can be considered a legend of golf based simply on the fact he has won so many tournaments at such a young age.)

For others, though, the ideal golfing is not so much where they play as to the weather conditions. Some golfers prefer a day with mild temperatures and a light breeze to help keep them cool, while others want a challenge and will go to the extremes weather-wise.

There are those who will play when the temperature hits triple digits, or drops well below freezing, just to see how well they play under these circumstances.

And, there are golfers who will play in the snow and at night. Specially designed golf balls have been created for these golfers.

The night players can chase their glow-in-the-dark golf balls all over the course, but need to take a flashlight to prevent running into a tree or some other hazard on the course. For those who play in the snow, fluorescent golf balls were created. These brightly colored balls are easy to see against the snow-covered course.

Either way, golfing in the extreme is a challenge, and not one for the faint of heart, or the poor of play. For golfers who play in extreme heat, they need to remember to bring plenty of water to drink and leave all alcoholic beverages alone.

Those who play in the cold should have something warm to drink in a thermos to help keep their body temperature up, even if they are walking the course. But, these people tender to consider this to be ideal golf outings.

For most golfers, though, the ideal golf outing is simply the chance to go to their favorite course with a few friends and chase golf balls all over the pasture, just having a good time and not taking the game too seriously.

This is the most prevalent type of golfer, and these players can usually be found playing in couples and foursomes. They will chide one another on a bad shot, while complimenting one another on good shots and putts. The final score rarely matters (unless they tend to be serious golfers), as they are on the links to have a good time and get away from the stresses of every day life.

Oddly enough, there are golfers who prefer to play the game by themselves. The solo golfer will most likely walk the course, getting to know the feel of every tee box, fairway and green with his or her feet.

Whether you’re looking to travel to new courses every chance you get, to find extreme challenges, hoping to improve your game, or just enjoy the drive, the putt and the satisfaction of a completed round of golf, it’s up to you to define your ideal golfing experience. All that’s left after that is to go out and make it happen.

All that’s left after that is to go out and find a great place to play. The author prefers the Golfurlaub resource to find those places.

You Too Can Ski Down Mount Everest

May 21st, 2009

Getting to the summit is optional, getting down is mandatory. – David Breashears-

Extreme Skier Maegan Carney

Extreme skier Maegan Carney had made a bid to be the first woman, and second person to ski down the world’s tallest mountain.

Because of the high winds of Mount Everest at that time, Maegan Carney abandoned her first summit attempt.

To find more information about Maegan’s quest, go to
the mountainzone.com website.

Preparation Is The Secret:

Before you climb a mountain, you need some major preparations:

You definitely need to be physically and emotionally fit.

You should have people in the group who know first aid and of coarse you have a first aid kit.

Make sure you have a schedule set up, because of the dangers involved.

The mountain you’re climbing, how long it should take, how many and who are going, and where will you start your assention.

Bring a camera for breath taking views and to record your trip. A cell phone for emergencies and to call someone to share your excitement when you make it to the top.

If you have the proper climbing gear with you, there’s no worries about staying the night if you get lost.

Also you know you’ll get rescued by morning because the proper people have been notified.

Some Guidelines For Climbing

It’s not a good idea to be flown or driven to altitudes higher than 3000 metres. Begin your walk at below that.

Once over the 3000 metre altitude, travel up in 300 metre increments each day, thats it, no more than that.

Climb up high during the day and sleep at lower altitudes at night.

If high altitude symptoms start to affect you, stop climbing higher. If symptoms worsen, go down right away.

You will need to drink plenty of fluids, hiking dehydrates your body very fast when climbing at high altitudes and this increases as the temperature does.

Do the climb at a slow pace and you’ll enjoy your climb more.

Stay away from alcohol, tobacco and other vices that will play havoc with your body and mind at these high altitudes.

A high-carbohydrate diet will really benefit you here.

In the USA there are many resorts above the 3,000 metre level, meaning you will need to keep a watch out for mountain sickness.

Some Mount Everest Facts:

Historic Mountain Climbing Deaths:

George Mallory and Andrew Irvine on June 6 1924, made an attempt on the summit from which they never returned.

An eyewitness claimed he saw the group reach the summit.

A total of 808 climbers have reached and stood on the summit,
764 men and 44 women. There were 161 that died, 36 on the descent.

More About Mountain Climbing Deaths

In 1965, was the best year for climbing, nine climbers summitted and there were no deaths.

In 1996, the worst single year for deaths, 15 climbers died.

About Mount Everest Itself

The Highest Peak: At 29,035′ (8850m), thats about five miles up, the highest summit in the world, and is close to the cruising altitude of a jet, or it is 23 times the height of the Empire State building.

Above 26,000, the body gets a third of the oxygen available at sea level.

Even after getting acclimated, the body starts to shut down, and if someone stays at that height long enough, they will die.

A lot of the climbers use oxygen here for climbing and sleeping.

The weather on Everest allows for climbing only in May and October between winter snows (December-March) and summer monsoons (June-September).

As you can tell, this article is just giving you the basics of what information you’ll need to find your way to the top of the world’s highest peaks. Amazon.com has a great source of books on this subject.
