1,000 Calorie Diabetic Diet and the Negative Calorie Diet

1,000 calorie diabetic diet supposes that daily calorie intake has to be limited to the number of 1,000. It is often prescribed to diabetics with very high blood sugar level in order to make it lower in a short period of time. It is also prescribed to diabetics who suffer from obesity.

Sometimes 1,000 calorie diabetic diet is opposed to Negative Calorie Diet. The letter claims that there are foods that have negative calorie effect. Thus you don’t have to limit your daily calorie intake at all. All you have to do is to eat proper food and loose weight at the same time. It’s not quite clear what effect it has on blood sugar level changes.

Negative Calorie Diet can be referred to a sort of alternative medicine because it has not been yet approved by the scientific community.
Going back to the subject we can say that these two diets contradict to each other, and each of them has its proponents and opponents.

1,000 calorie diabetic diet could be for you if you suffer from type1/type2 diabetes and overweight/obesity or from both of them together. The most obvious and fast effect of this diet is an almost immediate blood sugar level lowering.
